Controller
Brumann Sàrl, Rue de Fauporte 22, 3977 Granges VS, is responsible for the personal data processed on this website. For any question: info@brumann.swiss.
Data processed
When you order: your first and last name, your company if applicable, your delivery address, your email address, your phone number, the content of the order and its payment details (method, reference, amount).
Your card details are entered on the secure page of Saferpay, Worldline's payment service: Brumann does not receive them.
Purposes
This data is used to prepare, ship and invoice your order, to keep you informed about it or contact you about it, and to keep our accounts.
If you agree by ticking the box provided, your email address is also used to send you news from the house. Every mailing lets you unsubscribe in one click.
Recipients
Your data is neither sold nor rented. It is only passed on to the service providers that help us carry out your order: Worldline, which processes the payment on our behalf through its Saferpay service, the carrier responsible for delivery, the people who keep our accounts, and the technical providers that host the website and its database and send the emails.
Where data is processed
Order data is stored in Switzerland. The website's pages are served by a hosting provider that may process technical connection data, such as your IP address, outside Switzerland, in particular in the United States.
The shop's emails (receipts and order notifications) are sent through an email delivery provider that stores account data, sending metadata and logs in the United States.
Audience measurement
Only with your consent do we use Google Analytics, a Google service, to count visits and see which pages are viewed. Nothing is loaded until you have answered “OK” to the question shown at the bottom of the screen; if you answer “No thanks”, Google Analytics is never loaded.
With your consent, Google Analytics sets two cookies, “_ga” and “_ga_” followed by the site's identifier, which recognise your browser from one visit to the next; they are kept for thirteen months. Google receives the address of the pages viewed, without any order data, technical information about your device and browser, and an approximate location. According to Google, IP addresses are not stored in Google Analytics.
This data is not used for any advertising: the advertising features of Google Analytics are turned off, and the data is not combined with any other data. We only look at overall statistics. Google keeps visit data for fourteen months at most and may process it outside Switzerland, in particular in the United States.
Your answer is kept in your browser, without a cookie, for thirteen months; after that, the question is asked again. You can change your mind at any time with the “Audience measurement” link at the bottom of every page: if you then answer “No thanks”, measurement stops and the Google Analytics cookies are deleted.
Retention period
Orders and receipts are kept for ten years, as the law requires for accounting records. Your email address for news is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and withdraw your consent to receiving news, by writing to info@brumann.swiss. Data that the law requires us to keep is only deleted at the end of that period.
You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
